Solar inverters turn DC power from panels or batteries into usable AC, serving homes and shops that need backup, grid-tied plant contractors and installers.

On-grid, off-grid or hybrid

• On-grid inverters feed solar power into the grid without batteries and shut down when the grid fails, so they give no backup. Wall-mounted units from Solis, KSTAR and Power Solid, plus three-phase models from Solis, KSTAR and INHENERGY.
• Off-grid inverters and inverter-chargers run from a battery bank and supply AC during outages or off the grid; inverter-chargers also recharge the battery while the grid is on. Includes 1 kW, 2000 VA and 3000 VA desktop units and a 3.5 kW wall-mounted model.
• Hybrid inverters manage panels, battery and grid together and, with a battery connected, keep supplying power during outages. Single- and three-phase models, including 5.2, 6 and 11 kW units.
